Faith

St Stephen's School is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia.

The School's Christian emphasis is reflected in:

• a loving, caring community
• a community of faith which presents the Christian message in a way which encourages students to explore questions of faith
• a commitment by each staff member to contribute to the Christian ethos
• the expression of Christian belief in daily living
• shared worship
• service towards one another
• a curriculum viewed from a Christian perspective.

We welcome families from different faith backgrounds, and those with no church affiliation.

Although it is not necessary to be a member of a Christian church to enrol, parents and students must be willing to support the Christian ethos of the School, and participate in spiritual aspects of school life, within the context of the Uniting Church.
