Mr Des Mitchell has regrettably tendered his resignation as Principal of St Stephen's School.

After working as Principal across two Pre-primary to Year 12 campuses since October 2007, Mr Mitchell has communicated a preference to have closer community relationships with students, parents and staff.

The Council is very proud of the strength and calibre of the leadership team at St Stephen's and the Principal's responsibilities will be capably handled by the Heads of the Primary and Secondary Schools of each campus with the support of other members of the Leadership Team for the remainder of the academic year. 

Mr Mitchell leaves St Stephen's with the best wishes of Council and the school community.
